So basically the motherboard on my computer blew and my computer wont turn on. Does anyone know anyway I can get the data from my hard drive without going to the Geek Squad and paying 100 bucks or more?

Yea, if you have any external HD’s you can simply swap the drives. If you have any other computers you can do the same. If you have neither, you could always go to anybody else (I’m sure a good portion of people on tumblr are relatively tech savvy) and get them to give you a hand. I could help, but I’d have to get your HD.

Hopefully the problem didn’t originate in the power supply, or you might have fried everything. But stay optimistic! ($100 for something like that is completely ridiculous)

 Thanks man.  I do have an external hd so thats extremely easy.  I called best buy and told them i had one and they were like no you have to bring it in so i was like screw that.  Thanks again
